Ranked as one the most powerful youth leader in India,Subhash Chowdhary entered into student politics in his early years with grit
and determination to empower students at all level and channelise
their energy for constructive work. First elected as Executive
Councillor of Delhi University Students Union, the then Congress
President Indira Gandhi noticed the spark of leadership in him and
appointed him as the General Secretary of National Students Union of
India, Congress student wing.
